Our saws and routers leave beautiful chip-free edges on the parts we cut. Be careful with touched edges. While this edge isn’t as sharp as glass, if you move your hand quickly down the acrylic edge under pressure, you could get a “kirigami” type of injury.
Solution: Use #100 grit sandpaper and abrasive blocks. Just run the sandpaper a few times across the edge at a 45-degree angle. Test the edges of the acrylic sheet with your fingers. When it feels good, stop!
